About See Me Aged Care Navigators
We help older people to access government subsidised aged care services and support that will enable them to live well at home for as long as possible.
We're the human compass of Australia’s aged care system. Our consultants are registered nurses and former assessors with Aged Care Assessment Teams. We have both the knowledge and expertise to support older people to get the in-home care they need, when they need it.
You want to be there for your older loved ones, so do we.

Coral Wilkinson
Hi I'm Coral, a Registered Nurse with more than 30 years' experience in both health and aged care sectors and I love nothing more than helping people get the support they need to remain at home.
I left my job in Qld Health in 2019 and launched See Me Aged Care Navigators because people kept asking me to help them get the support for their parents, that I was able to get for my dad.

I have always had an interest in health and helping people. I spent 30 years as a pharmacist, 20 in retail and 10 in the public hospital system. Through my work I developed a special relationship with my older clients and saw first hand how a little extra support could make such an improvement to their lives. It was then I knew that working to get better outcomes for older people was what I wanted to do.
When Coral offered me work with See Me Aged Care Navigators, I jumped at the opportunity. Not only did this tick all the boxes for where my interests lay, it also meant I could work with my sister (yes, Coral and I are sisters).
My belief is that knowledge is power, and getting the right information in a timely manner is so important. Being able to communicate that knowledge in a way that people can understand and act on is vital.
I work as our Client Care Manager, so I’m often the first person you have contact with. I aim to give you the right options for your needs so you to feel comfortable with the support we offer, and that you will benefit from working with us.
Family is so important to me, nurturing, respecting and supporting them. I take that attitude into my work and treat those I interact with in the same way.
When I’m not working, I love to get off the beaten track camping. I also enjoy gardening and playing with my two dogs.
Our Story
Our dad had dementia, and in his last year with us he had four strokes, each time being admitted to hospital. He had a level 4 home care package that helped us provide the support he needed to remain at home. But after the fourth stroke, his needs were so high that his treating medical team wondered if he'd be able to go home.
Knowing how the aged care system worked, I explained to the doctors and allied health clinicians that it was possible to get dad home rather than be admitted to an aged care facility.
Dad went home on the Transition Care Program and when that finished, he re-commenced care within his home care package. My dad was able to remain at home right through his end of life.
In April 2019 I resigned from Qld Health and launched this business. I now help people just like you and me to get their older loved ones into and through My Aged Care in a timely manner, positioning older loved ones for an assessment with the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT).
Knowing how challenging it is to care for a loved one with complex and high needs, we understand that as busy sandwich generation children with ageing parents, you want someone trustworthy and capable who can sort it all for you. That's what we excel at doing. We get the outcomes for you that we did for my dad.
Coral started the business because she could see the gaps in the process and the limitations that were placed on her because of her position within the public health system.
Empowering people with knowledge and 'know' how'
Our aged care system is so complex it disadvantages the people it is designed to assist. Writing and speaking about the sector is my way of supporting people to get the outcomes they are entitled to and deserve.
Put me in front of an audience and I'm in my element. I've been interviewed on National radio, I speak at senior's expos and community events and I've launched our podcast in May 2024.
We regularly share our knowledge and expertise with others. In fact it's one of the things we love best.
