This year I’m opening the membership twice only, with only 30 spaces available each round. April and August are the only two times we're offering our membership for 2024.

Registration opens 15th April 2024 and will be open for two weeks only. Then our community goes live on 29th April 2024.
Join now, to be sure you don't miss out.

struggling to navigate the aged care system?

Looking after our loved ones as they get older is stressful.

After years of them looking after you, you’re now caring for them and steering them through the aged care system.

You’re walking a tightrope, balancing their desire for independence with the need to keep them safe.

There’s no shortage of information out there. But how do you find your way through all the websites, forms and documents?

How are you supposed to plot a course to match the needs of your loved one with what they’re entitled to?

Where are you supposed to find the time it takes to wade through all of the information?

And while you’re the one doing the research and making decisions, it seems everyone else in the family has an opinion.

But you don’t need to travel this path on your own.

With the Aged Care Compass Community, you’ll get the knowledge you need to navigate My Aged Care, with ease, and without wasting precious time.

More importantly, you’ll be part of a supportive, like-minded community.

My Story

coral-wilkinson-seemeacn

Hi, I’m Coral and I’ve worked in the public health system as a registered nurse for over 30 years. That includes 9 years as an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) assessor and delegate.

In 2017, my dad had progressed to the advanced stage of his dementia. In this last year of his life, he had 4 strokes and ended up in hospital each time.

Suddenly, I was on the other side of the system.

I realised how much needed to be done to help older people and their families navigate the aged care system.

We were able to access the right in-home care programs to bring Dad home, supplementing his home care package. This was despite so many in his treating team and allied health thinking it wasn’t possible.

I was lucky to have the skills and knowledge to get the right outcomes for my family.

The Royal Commission into Aged Care soon followed.

I realised I could do more, driving change from the outside and empowering consumers at the grassroots to get the outcomes they were entitled to.

In 2019, I launched See Me Aged Care Navigators to help older Australians and their families navigate the aged care system.

In 2024, I’m excited about launching the Aged Care Compass Community.

My goal is to help and train more people while building communities and connecting people to support each other.

I hope you’ll join us.

Here's what my happy clients have said

Helen NIchols

A natural carer, highly attentive to people’s needs and a great communicator

I live overseas, so working with Coral has been a fantastic way of supporting my elderly mum in QLD. Coral visited Mum to assess her needs and committed extra time to ensuring Mum received the best possible care package. We worked with Coral to navigate the aged care system and ensure Mum has daily support so she can continue to live at home.
I highly recommend Coral and her team at See Me for support and personal attention in working through the minefield of aged care packages, information and regulations in Australia.

Coral was a lifesaver and provided invaluable help.

After 2 years, I honestly was my at wits' end with the run around between My Aged Care and another service provider. Thanks to Coral, Mum now has a level 4 package and remains at home with her family, who are now equipped to support her care appropriately.

Guided us through the maze that is Australia’s aged care system.

Coral empowered us with the right information and connected us to the right services. We would not have got there without her professionalism and care. Thank you, Coral and team. We felt safe and secure in her hands.

Explains the system in understandable language

I’ve been struggling with knowing what to do and which are the right decisions for my parents (both in their 90s) regarding their Home Care Packages. I can absolutely recommend Coral and the team and their support in lessening the stress of negotiating the Australian Aged Care system. Your advice has been invaluable.

Janet Bayley

Over the past 5 years, we've supported more than 2000 people to get the right approvals for the right support at the right time.
Our clients consistently get ACAT approvals for the full range of in-home aged care programs, including Short-Term Restorative Care program and higher level home care packages.

We achieve this because we know the aged care system so well.

It is possible to get the support you need in a timely manner. This is what I'm going to teach you in my membership.

Join me in my community and let me show you how to get the in-home support you or your older loved one is eligible for.

My guarantee

We can’t make promises about the outcome you’ll get from the aged care system.

But I’m confident that at the end of your first 12 weeks in the Aged Care Compass Community, you’ll have all the skills, knowledge and resources to navigate the My Aged Care system. And with your new community of friends navigating the same path, you’ll always have a supportive person on hand.

Your investment

You might wonder why you’d pay for information that’s available free on the internet.

The reality is, there’s so much out there, most people struggle to find the right information. And even if they can find it, they’re unsure what the next steps are.

Working out who to contact, when to contact them and what you need to say, can waste so much time.

Instead you can invest in our knowledge and expertise. We’ll efficiently guide you through the system, giving you back time to spend with your family.

The Aged Care Compass Community offers an affordable alternative to my “done for you” service. This is especially useful for people who may need to support multiple family members to navigate the system in the years ahead. And with $13,600 in funding  available with the Short-Term Restorative Care program and up to $59, 593.55 for a home care package available, getting into the system now will ensure your loved one has every chance of remaining at home longer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to common questions about the Aged Care Compass Community.

CAN YOU PROVIDE ME WITH A TAILORED PLAN?

No. This program is about giving you the skills and knowledge to navigate the system. I offer a tailored plan, as a separate, premium service.

DO I HAVE TO JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP?

The main training will take place on Zoom (and the recordings shared via a private website page). But I’ll go live and answer questions in the Facebook group. This is also where you can connect with others in the group who can share their experience.

DO YOU SUPPORT PEOPLE OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA?

This program is only about the Australian aged care system. But if you’re outside Australia and trying to support a loved one in Australia, you can definitely join.

CAN I STAY IN THE FACEBOOK GROUP AFTER THE FIRST YEAR?

At the end of the first year, you can stay in the Facebook group for a fee.

CAN I GET A REFUND?

If you attend the introductory session and haven’t gained any value from it (or don’t think the program is for you), I’ll happily refund your payment.

You must request any refund within 7 days of the program starting.

We do not provide any refunds after the first 7 days, and we do not provide pro rata refunds for cancelled accounts.

ARE MASTERCLASSES RECORDED?

We record all group sessions, including the welcome call, masterclasses and Ask Me Anything sessions. We save these to a member only section of the See Me Aged Care Navigators website.

IS THIS ONLY FOR PEOPLE SUPPORTING A FAMILY MEMBER OF CAN I JOIN TO MANAGE MY OWN SITUATION?

The program is suitable for anyone navigating the Australian My Aged Care system. We’ve worked with family members and with people wanting to understand how to make the best of their own situation.

WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR INFORMATION I CAN FIND ON THE INTERNET?

While information about the My Aged Care system is available online for free, most people struggle to find the right information. And even if they can find it, they’re not sure what their next steps should be. The Aged Care Compass is a cost-effective alternative to our premium “done for you” service. This is especially useful for people who may need to help multiple family members navigate the system in the years ahead.

HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED TO ALLOCATE TO LEARNING AND HOMEWORK DURING THE FIRST 12 WEEKS?

To get the most out of the first 12 weeks, we recommend you allocate one hour a week to attend the scheduled Masterclass or Ask Me Anything session. After that, the Facebook group is there for you to spend as much time in as you need to.

So are you ready to join us?

Understanding the aged care system can seem overwhelming.

And it can be a time-consuming process.

But by taking this first step and joining our Aged Care Compass membership, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to support your family when they really need it most.
